Job Summary

Atlas is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our nationwide operations in the Duluth, GA office location. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our Operations and Accounting teams, ensuring the smooth execution of projects and associated contracts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of projects and contracts, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processing.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations and Accounting teams, including preparing documents, managing files, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of college completion towards an Accounting or Finance degree.
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
  • Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 wpm.
