Key Responsibilities:


• Oversee and monitor project advancement in alignment with the established timeline.


• Synchronize project timelines across various teams.


• Balance the workload with the capacity of project team members.


• Track project milestones and phases, implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain schedule adherence.


• Inform team leaders about project timelines, milestones, phases, work requests, target dates, and approved work packages.


• Responsible for scheduling or overseeing status reviews, project management evaluations, and quality assurance assessments with relevant stakeholders.


• Accountable for conducting peer reviews with the appropriate project team members.


• Tasked with developing estimates for enhancements, business process re-engineering, or development efforts throughout planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation phases.


• Collaborate with vendor project managers and technical project managers to adjust and revise project estimates as required.


• Ensure that new project estimates receive client approval and mutual agreement.


• Process Change Requests.


• Ensure all scope changes adhere to the procedures outlined in the Change Management Plan and are properly documented.


• Receive and log all change requests from project stakeholders, assisting them with form completion as needed.


• Conduct preliminary analyses of risk, cost, schedule, and scope regarding changes before presenting to the Change Control Board.


• Seek clarification from change requestors on any outstanding issues or concerns.


• Make necessary documentation revisions for all approved changes.


• Ensure that any approved changes are communicated effectively to the project team and stakeholders.

Skills:

  • Proficient in formal project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical education.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience managing complex, mission-critical projects.
  • Background in leading public sector initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience coordinating projects with multiple business partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop analytical models to support business decisions.
  • Experience in providing timelines for achieving deliverables.
  • Familiarity with government solicitation processes.
