Job Description

Stellantis is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. As an Accounting Intern, you will assist with year-end financial statement processes, compile various reports for footnote disclosures, and complete monthly reporting requirements.

Internship Overview
  • The internship will start in January 2025 and run for 12 consecutive weeks.
  • All internships are in the United States, and remote work assignments must be completed within the country.
  • Interns are responsible for getting to and from work daily, and Stellantis does not provide transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with year-end financial statement process
  • Compile various reports for footnote disclosures
  • Complete monthly reporting requirements
  • Assist with maintaining audit support packages for the external audit and SOX controls
What You Will Learn
  • A complete end-to-end financial statement process, including exposure to the external audit
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems
  • Fundamentals in SOX processes
  • Developing an attention to detail philosophy
Requirements
  • Pursuing an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Majoring in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Completion of freshman year or higher at an accredited university by January 2025
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels and with external partners
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
  • Strong interest in the automotive industry
