Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Systems Management Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, cross-functional teamwork, data management, and working with various systems such as PowerBI, Excel, Oracle, and our Blood Establishment Computer System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Standardize naming and language across multiple internal computer systems housing customer data
  • Develop and implement user guides for internal/external customers to better interface with Versiti systems
  • Consult on current work flows to assist Customer Care team in identifying gaps and opportunities to streamline our process
  • Coordinate outreach and relationship building with key stakeholders
  • Maintain, update and create department data files, physical and electronic
  • Accurately compile data and assist in preparation of periodic or special projects including reports, presentations and spreadsheets
  • Participate in cross functional CapStone Intern Project with report out to Executive Leadership
  • Maintains effective communication with internal and external stakeholder via email, phone and in person meetings
  • Participate and contribute to department meetings, execute on goals and objectives to deliver outstanding results
  • Assists with special projects as assigned
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
  • Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program in a related field of the internship required
  • Completed a minimum of 2 years in college/university in a related field of study for the internship preferred
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
  • Effective communication skills preferred
  • Ability to be customer-focused and follow through on requests promptly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills preferred
  • Ability to quickly and accurately understand instructions and then work independently on assignments preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately preferred
  • Demonstrates keen attention to detail preferred
