Project Development Internship

The Walsh Group is currently seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our internship program in the Great Detroit area. Our internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, preparing them for leadership positions in the industry.
Responsibilities- Assist project managers and field supervision staff with project coordination, including scheduling and document control.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project development, including writing RFIs, submittals, and assisting with change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.
- Document project progress through photo documentation and other means.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or construction management.
- Ability to work a 12-week schedule, with flexibility to relocate for specific roles.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
