The selected candidate will oversee regulatory approval processes, support our sales team, and ensure compliance with biodiversity protocols. Key Responsibilities1. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation Management- Guarantee adherence to national and international regulations concerning cosmetic products.
- Formulate strategies to meet Chinese and FDA regulations for product approvals.
- Ensure compliance with the Nagoya Protocol regarding biological diversity.
- Oversee documentation necessary for international export and compliance with chemical legislation across various countries.
- Prepare, review, and submit regulatory approval documentation.
- Maintain current documentation for chemical raw materials, including PID, SDS, and TDS.
- Validate regulatory references for product packaging.
- Ensure that cosmetic claims are substantiated in line with regional requirements.
- Provide regulatory assistance to the sales team and clients.
- Establish and maintain a FAQ system for common regulatory questions.
- Conduct training sessions on regulatory matters for sales and customer teams.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Marketing departments on new product initiatives and modifications.
- Offer technical support to ensure all products meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements and updates in applicable regulations.
- Develop and sustain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting cosmetic products.
- Implement internal training programs on regulatory issues for relevant personnel.
- Coordinate regulatory projects from inception to approval.
- Ensure compliance with timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities, addressing their inquiries and inspections.
- University degree in Chemical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Specialized training in regulatory affairs and dermo-cosmetics is highly regarded.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and project management capabilities.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within the cosmetics or chemical sector.
- Familiarity with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 on classification, labeling, and packaging of substances and mixtures, as well as global cosmetic regulations, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
