Job Summary

The Department of Pediatrics at Rowan-Virtua SOM is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Vice Chair to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Vice Chair will play a critical role in shaping the department's strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the department's clinical, academic, and research activities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Represent the department at internal and external meetings and events
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Requirements
  • Must hold a medical degree (DO or MD) and be board certified in Pediatrics
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including prior experience in a management role
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of success in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
