Job Summary:

This position will provide multi-skilled maintenance and electrical support while focusing on customer service, quality, cost, and productivity in a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Continuous Improvement (CI) environment.

The successful candidate will work on preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance calls, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and adhere to all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble pneumatic valves, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot basic motor branch circuits, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
  • Restore equipment to operating condition quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Notify management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Maintain continuous improvement efforts in the work area, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Understand basic functions of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) drives and controls.
  • Preventative maintenance experience, with a focus on industrial maintenance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of electrical test equipment.
  • 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong background in electrical support.
  • Completion of an industrial maintenance program within the last 18 months.
  • Dependability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, with a focus on physical stamina and endurance.
  • Must perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods, with a focus on physical fitness and adaptability.
  • Possess strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration and results-driven performance.
  • Will work in hot and cold environments, with a focus on adaptability and resilience.
  • Will work overtime when needed, with a focus on flexibility and commitment to meeting business objectives.
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply.
