Key Responsibilities:
The role of an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Nucor Harris Rebar involves collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of production equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of production machinery.
- Utilizing expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, and welding.
- Completing process improvement initiatives and providing operational support.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles with practical experience in mechanical maintenance.
- A two-year technical degree or equivalent training, along with two years of industrial maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A four-year technical degree.
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance within the steel industry.
- Advanced certifications in mechanical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Preventative and Predictive Maintenance practices.
