We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Finance and Accounting division in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the billing and collection of outstanding invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processes
- Maintain effective relations with clients to facilitate prompt payment
- Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts
- Manage team to identify and plan to mitigate critical business continuity risks
- Analyze team expectations and KPI's to provide recommendations for budgetary needs
- Bachelor's degree in business or an accounting emphasis or combination of education and experience equivalent required
- 5-7 years of AR experience with at least 3 years of manager level preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite - word, excel, outlook and Visio; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports required
- Knowledge of state mechanics lien law procedures and sales tax laws pertaining to construction preferred
- Knowledge of billing practices in construction preferred
