Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Operations Manager to lead our Trust Tax team. As a key member of our operations management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Trust Tax Outsourcing team, including the generation and filing of returns during tax season, and review of transactional data during off season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall Trust Tax Outsourcing operation, including the production and filing of all related tax returns, conversions of clients from other platforms, and managing customer experiences and all communications.
  • Lead a diverse team of fiduciary tax professionals to provide timely, efficient, and accurate production of high volumes of tax information statements and tax returns.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to drive efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Product Management, Support Customer Service, Development, Marketing, and Sales to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Present outsourcing services to prospective clients and work with the legal department to prepare and deliver contracts for new clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with CPA or EA certification a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience managing a tax department in an accounting practice, wealth management, or financial institution.
  • Experience running a tax office or similar high-value Tax outsourcing services operation.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with ability to interact with internal and external clients, assess business challenges, and collaboratively define solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and implement best practices.
