Role Summary

The role is pivotal in advancing the branch's mission by ensuring effective operational execution and high levels of client satisfaction. This position necessitates working during the night shift. Key responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to, delivering direct restoration and maintenance services to a diverse clientele on a nightly basis; orchestrating daily operational resources to guarantee service delivery surpasses client expectations; performing site evaluations; aligning individual tasks with the strategic objectives of the team; supporting the financial targets of the branch; and providing insights and solutions by overseeing daily operations of the team. Develops comprehensive knowledge of all restoration and maintenance services offered; collaborates and communicates consistently with the operations team to meet client needs and requests; and suggests modifications to service delivery and frequency to enhance client value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of work performed across all shifts. Conduct site inspections to guarantee work quality exceeds customer expectations.
  • Required to perform the actual service delivery of requested services.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed according to work order specifications and that all work orders are documented with accurate time and notes.
  • Ensure all jobs meet the established financial targets, keeping scheduled jobs within budgeted hours or better.
  • Facilitate consistent communication with clients, staff, and management. Ensure nightly reports are submitted by 4 AM daily.
  • Maintain a proactive and innovative approach to resolving operational challenges.
  • Responsible for upholding a safe work environment, utilizing caution signs and barriers as necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of cleaning methods for various materials including carpet, upholstery, fabric, and leather.
  • Understand and execute cleaning methods for hard surfaces such as wood, VCT, resilient flooring, ceramic, porcelain, and stone.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of coatings.
  • Understand and perform water damage restoration techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and preventative upkeep of cleaning equipment and vehicles.
  • Implement training and orientation for technicians; promote positive team goals and leverage team achievements as motivation.
  • Learn, teach, and integrate new services and procedures into the company operations.
  • Mentor, train, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and technicians on all services, client interactions, and professional skills.
  • Ensure client needs are met with appropriate services; recommend additional services to address unrecognized issues.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, the operational team, and branch management.
  • Align individual goals and tasks with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Enhance knowledge of client facilities to become a valuable asset and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Develop a robust leadership style to guide the operations team.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by networking, participating in professional organizations, and attending development workshops.
  • Communicate issues, concerns, and inquiries to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • IICRC Certification in Carpet, Upholstery, Hard Floors, and Water Restoration is highly desirable.
Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in supervision, staffing, scheduling, dispatching, and routing is required.
  • Experience in carpet cleaning, furniture cleaning, and/or floor care is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operational strategies, principles, and practices.
  • Ability to establish and adjust labor force by monitoring costs, budgeted hours, and branch workload.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Possess problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to align with strategic plans to achieve profit and financial goals.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage changing priorities, and achieve objectives while meeting deadlines.
