Job Title: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and directing the Warehouse Operations Team to ensure the efficient and effective coordination of product placement, storage, movement, loading/unloading of trucks, customer service, organization, cleanliness, and inventory control of donations at our Retail Operations Center (ROC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the Warehouse Operations Team to achieve business objectives and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor daily/weekly reports to understand inventory trends and Team Member performance, and provide feedback to Warehouse Operations Leadership to maintain and improve business efficiency and resolve problems.
  • Assist manager with scheduling and controlling expenses, and ensure that inventory distribution and organization are as efficient as possible.
  • Ensure Team Members deliver excellent customer service to vendors and customers, and maintain a clean, well-kept, and safe work environment that reflects the Goodwill brand.
  • Communicate with ROC partner departments on status of equipment, product, staffing, and general information, and make decisions on matters relating to the day-to-day operation within your defined work area.
  • Prepare daily work assignments, determine equipment needs, staffing needs, and product placement to ensure efficient and effective operations, and ensure standards for quality services are met.
  • Operate a forklift and maintain forklift certification as needed, and report any unsafe or potential hazards to management.
  • Assist with building a high-performing team and creating a culture of safety, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate others.
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
  • Qualified, or ability to become a qualified, Forklift Operator.
  • Familiarity with OSHA Regulations regarding Warehouse Operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
  • Regular and consistent in-person attendance.
