The Pool Manager is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for guests at Westgate Resorts while ensuring exceptional levels of guest service are provided. This role involves supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the pool, creating a motivated team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview and select potential employees, review employee performance, discipline, and separate employees as needed, schedule staff based on business needs
  • Train employees on proper procedures, guest relations, and assigned duties
  • Inspect and maintain the entire recreational deck
  • Ensure the safest possible facility for guests
  • Physically inspect the recreation deck for hazards and miscellaneous maintenance, and order work as needed
  • Attend hotel operations meetings, safety meetings, and other committee meetings
  • Be knowledgeable about the facility, the property, and its amenities to effectively communicate with guests
