Overview:

The Contract Surety Bond Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the underwriting of surety bonds within a designated region. This position is essential for maintaining profitability and fostering strong relationships with agencies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage bond production and underwriting processes, including risk assessment and decision-making.
  • Develop and nurture agency partnerships to identify new marketing avenues across all bond products.
  • Facilitate communication between agents, clients, and internal departments to resolve issues effectively.
  • Assess new business and renewal applications to ensure alignment with underwriting standards.
  • Underwrite bond applications within established authority limits.
  • Prepare detailed underwriting recommendations for management review.
  • Leverage bond automation systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor territory performance to meet profitability objectives.
  • Provide training and support to staff to maximize cross-selling opportunities and strengthen agency relations.

Compensation and Benefits:

Diedre Moire Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $250,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes profit sharing, matched 401(k) contributions, and annual performance-based bonuses.


Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree and have 2-5 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting, specifically in surety and contract bonds.
