Job Title: Registered Nurse 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse 2 to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to patients and families, promoting a positive and compassionate care environment.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
