University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Chemotherapy/Infusion Specialist - Level II. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, providing exceptional care to our patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Infusion Therapy department. As a Chemotherapy/Infusion Specialist - Level II, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of patient responses.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN required.
  • Valid Florida RN License, BLS/ACLS certifications required.
  • Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course, certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in chemotherapy infusion, Emergency or Critical Care Nursing.
