Crown Communications, Incorporated Seeks Contract Manager

Crown Communications, Incorporated is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to oversee the administration of a large contract with a NASA client. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with the contract's requirements and provide exceptional contract management throughout the contract's lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, prepare, and administer contracts, bids, and proposals that meet specifications and comply with all policies and regulations.
  • Support or participate in contract negotiations with suppliers, partners, or customers.
  • Review contract terms to identify any potential risk or compliance issues.
  • Examine supporting materials and agreement documents related to bids or contracts and provide guidance.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and subcontractors to implement the contracts.
  • Maintain contract records used to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Administer non-complex contracts under the direction of the Contracts Manager and in collaboration with other Contract administrators.
  • Perform routine regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or legal discipline.
  • 3-8 years' federal government contracting experience with a focus on contracts issued by NASA.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR and NFS regulations is required; working knowledge of FAA AMS is a plus.
  • Experience with various types of contracts (TandM, Cost-plus, and FFP).
Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated business systems; experience with UNANET or other similar accounting software package is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills; strong time management skills.
  • Ability to support work accomplished on east-coast working hours.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working for a Small/Mid-sized company preferred.
  • Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt well to change.
  • Heavy Organization Skills: detail-oriented, problem-solving, strong communication and collaboration skills, self-motivated, and the ability to work independently.
