Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure maintenance operations align with our core value of maintaining a safe and incident-free workplace.
- Establish and promote a culture of excellence in maintenance practices across the site.
- Enhance maintenance efficiency by setting clear performance goals and providing coaching and recognition.
- Offer technical support to maintenance staff, fostering their problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve the reliability of critical equipment.
- Coordinate with operations to prioritize and execute maintenance tasks effectively.
Job Planning Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance backlog and lead regular reviews.
- Develop and oversee weekly maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of planned maintenance activities.
- Plan and organize routine and improvement maintenance work orders.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of maintenance work plans.
- Support the procurement of necessary materials and resources for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance targets.
- Coordinate with external resources as needed.
- Work with procurement to optimize spare parts availability.
- Assist in job preparation, including scope development and resource identification.
- Evaluate and manage maintenance plans and tasks.
- Conduct job walk-downs to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Monitor work execution to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in a maintenance role within chemical operations is highly preferred.
