Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of floors, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
