Position Overview
The E-Commerce Product Catalog Coordinator at UPLIFT Desk plays a crucial role in developing high-quality product listings for our brand. This position involves collaboration with various teams, including Product Development, Multimedia, and Web Development, to ensure that our product listings are engaging and informative.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize mockups created by our design and content teams to develop listings on the BigCommerce platform.
- Employ HTML to craft detailed and precise product descriptions.
- Update existing listings by optimizing content, adjusting lead times, and incorporating new options.
- Ensure that new listings are user-friendly and properly linked to related pages.
- Identify and resolve content issues, such as broken links and formatting errors.
- Generate ideas for website enhancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing e-commerce product listings on platforms like BigCommerce and Shopify.
- At least 1 year of experience listing products on third-party channels such as Amazon.
- Intermediate knowledge of web scripting languages including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in G-suite applications (documents and spreadsheets).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college education or a degree in a relevant field.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage tasks and projects.
- Ability to update, publish, and conduct quality assurance on page layouts and content blocks.
- Familiarity with project management tools, such as AirTable.
- Experience with content management systems, such as Contentful.
