Job Summary

The Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development is a strategic leader responsible for driving the organization's human resources and service excellence functions. This role requires a collaborative and innovative approach to develop a workforce that meets the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide operational support and direction to the Human Resources and Service Excellence functions.
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership to maintain optimal relationships and lines of communication.
  • Maximize efficiency and resource utilization through the use of modern technologies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business administration, human resources management, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of healthcare human resource management experience, with 5 years at a Director level.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and expert-level knowledge of human resources operations.
  • Ability to interact with and engage all levels of management and individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Working knowledge of all HR functional areas, including EEOC laws and requirements, federal and state employment laws, immigration requirements, and ADA regulations.
  • Knowledgeable regarding budget development and proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
