Key Responsibilities:
As a Surety Analyst, your daily tasks will vary based on your experience level in Surety. For those new to the field, comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering technical advice and support regarding Surety to non-specialist personnel.
- Coordinating the collection of essential underwriting information.
- Ensuring compliance with Surety lines of credit during bond issuance.
- Assisting in negotiations for bond execution that exceeds established credit limits.
Specific Tasks Include:
- Drafting Consent of Surety Final Payment documents and prequalification letters.
- Preparing General Indemnity Agreements and Bond Applications.
- Managing expiration lists and updating records as per client requirements.
- Maintaining organized electronic bond files and financial documentation.
- Handling invoicing and account receivables/payables.
- Updating client information post-renewal.
Skills for Success:
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret technical instructions.
- Background in Construction Management, Insurance, or Surety.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience. Candidates must maintain a Notary Public designation and the necessary Producer license.
