Our dedicated team provides extensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to ensure operational efficiency across critical sectors, including military, emergency services, and global supply chains.
Position: We are seeking a Journey Level Marine Technician to support our operations.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing, repairing, or overhauling MTU, Volvo Penta, or Detroit Diesel engines. Familiarity with both gas and diesel inboard and outboard systems is advantageous, along with proficiency in using computers for communication and documentation.
Compensation: The hourly wage is $50.00, commensurate with skills and experience, plus an additional $1.50 per hour for fieldwork.
Sign-on Incentive: A $1000 bonus is available.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Travel Expectations: Up to 25% travel may be required within the designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to assess unit condition and identify deficiencies.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
- Verify performance through sea trials and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage costs by utilizing warranties and evaluating service options.
- Maintain accurate records of engine and vessel services and repairs.
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site.
- Take ownership of new requests and explore opportunities for added value.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Complete work logs promptly with all relevant information.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in laptop/PC usage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with service manuals and operating instructions.
- Timely execution of repairs.
- Fluency with electrical multi-meters.
- Comprehensive understanding of diesel engine electronic controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical education is a plus.

- Safety adherence.
- Efficiency rates.
- Customer satisfaction levels.
Additional Requirements:
- Possession of a personal set of mechanics tools (metric and SAE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle.
- Complete company-provided training.
- Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
