JOB SUMMARY:
The Dining Room Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the designated outlet and shift within the Café and/or Buffet.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service and communication abilities. A team-oriented mindset is essential. Knowledge of food service operations is required. The ability to supervise and coordinate the efforts of others is crucial. Flexibility and adaptability are necessary traits. Candidates must be able to adhere to procedures and thrive in a bustling restaurant environment. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is mandatory. Self-motivation and leadership qualities are essential. Skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving are required. Basic computer skills are also necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist in the daily management of the Food Service Department.
2. Responsible for the ongoing training of front-line employees to ensure optimal guest satisfaction in quality, service, and efficiency.
3. Involved in interviewing, hiring, and scheduling processes.
4. Ensure compliance with the Southern Nevada Health District sanitation and safety standards.
5. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

This role requires physical exertion, including prolonged periods of standing; navigating uneven surfaces; frequent bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; and the ability to lift moderately heavy items. Specific physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity may be necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment may involve everyday risks or discomforts, necessitating normal safety precautions typical of kitchens, restaurants, bars, coolers, offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, residences, and commercial vehicles. Safe work practices with kitchen equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, and adherence to fire, health, and safety regulations are essential. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. This is a 24/7 work environment with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
