Customer Service Agent - Insurance

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Agent to join our team at Chris Castanza Insurance Agency. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders, resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming call center questions about insurance policies and insurance coverage issues, as well as consumer complaints and general inquiries
  • Keep track of all customer inquiries and follow up to verify that all questions are answered regarding customer policies
  • Contact clients for concerns or complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and monitor the situation to make sure the issue is resolved
  • Verify new customers coverage and present policyholders with proof of insurance paperwork
  • Make accurate modifications to consumer policies depending on the information supplied
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • General understanding of insurance policies and schedules
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
  • Previous customer service experience required for this position
  • Strong communication skills, active listening skills, and personal skills
