Position Overview:

As a Beverage Service Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by serving food and alcoholic beverages. Your role will involve setting tables in accordance with event specifications and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve food courses and beverages to guests with professionalism.
  • Engage with guests to answer questions regarding menu selections.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen about menu inquiries, wait times, and special requests.
  • Ensure all meal requirements, including allergies and dietary needs, are conveyed to the kitchen staff.
  • Utilize the MICROS system to record transactions promptly.
  • Check in with guests to confirm their satisfaction with food and beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including china and glassware, throughout your shift.
  • Complete closing duties, such as restocking and securing work areas.

Safety and Standards:

Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security. Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, ensuring confidentiality of proprietary information.

Guest Relations:

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests' service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Express genuine appreciation to guests for their patronage.

Team Collaboration:

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues. Support team efforts to achieve common goals and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. Must be able to navigate various surfaces and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No specific licenses or certifications needed.
