Responsibilities:- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Implement effective student behavior management techniques to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the delivery of appropriate accommodations and modifications for students with special needs.
- Use data-driven assessment practices to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, behavior, and instructional activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field.
- Connecticut state Special Education teaching license.
