Position Overview

WORK SCHEDULE: This role is scheduled for Sunday through Wednesday evenings, with the possibility of additional hours based on need and availability. The position also includes rotating on-call duties, approximately one week per month.

SALARY: Based on experience and qualifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide oversight and assistance to youth in shelter care and reception settings. A suitable candidate will deliver direct client support, establish and model appropriate boundaries, and teach relevant coping and problem-solving strategies. Complete necessary reports and documentation accurately and promptly. Supervise Direct Care staff, assess client needs, and facilitate access to suitable services, support, decisions, and plans. Coordinate relevant resources and community referrals, and provide follow-up counseling as required.

REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral or social science field is preferred; alternatively, two years of postsecondary education (minimum of 60 semester credits) and one year of experience working with children, or a comparable combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

All candidates must successfully pass agency background checks. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain approved driver status are required.
