**Primary Responsibilities:**
**Patient Engagement:** Welcoming patients with professionalism and warmth, managing phone inquiries, and providing timely responses to questions. Offering information about our services, coordinating appointment scheduling, and guiding patients to the appropriate areas within our facility.
**Appointment Management:** Effectively overseeing the appointment calendar to minimize scheduling conflicts and ensure accurate appointment records. This may involve collaboration with healthcare providers and staff to meet patient needs.
**Check-In/Check-Out Duties:** Gathering patient information, confirming insurance details, and verifying eligibility. Assisting patients in completing necessary documentation and ensuring all required forms are collected. Processing payments and issuing receipts as required.
**Administrative Assistance:** Executing various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records in accordance with confidentiality standards. Coordinating referrals and managing medical records requests as directed by healthcare professionals.
**Communication Facilitator:** Acting as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and staff members. Conveying important messages, scheduling updates, and relaying information accurately and efficiently.
**Issue Resolution:** Addressing patient concerns or complaints with professionalism and resolving issues promptly. Knowing when to escalate matters to higher-level staff when necessary.
**Multitasking and Prioritization:** Handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Prioritizing urgent matters while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all job aspects.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of healthcare protocols, including HIPAA compliance.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

- Proof of high school diploma or GED.
