Maintenance Staff Job Description

Factory Direct Marine & RV is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Staff member to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises and assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues and develop preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures, and manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
  • Plan and Schedule Repairs: Plan and schedule repairs, and conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
  • Perform General Maintenance Tasks: Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry, and maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent qualification, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
