Clinical Educator II

STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator II to join our team. As a Clinical Educator II, you will be responsible for ensuring that Sterile Processing staff, both internal and external to STERIS, are properly trained and operating within the guidelines set forth by various industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are effectively trained on all required competency skill levels.
- Conduct sterile processing employee assessments to identify competency deficiencies and provide effective training to eliminate gaps.
- Participate in new hire orientation and on-the-job training as directed by the Education Management Team.
- Maintain accurate training records, employee education files, and documentation of competency skill level.
- Ensure employee training files and documentation of competency skill level and certifications are up-to-date in the company database.
- Provide re-education training and communication for performance issues found in the OR and instrumentation tray audits.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of training experience required.
- 5+ years of Sterile Processing experience required.
- CRCST (HSPA) or CSPDT (CBSPD) certification required.
- CER (HSPA) or CFER (CBSPD) certification required.
- CIS (HSPA) or CSIS (CBSPD) or CST (NBSTSA) certification required.
- Maintain certification by completing 12 Continuing Education Credit Hours each year.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and ability to operate a vehicle as needed to meet travel requirements.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Previous travel experience preferred (1+ year).
