Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for assigned patients
- Provide high-quality patient care and ensure the coordination of care between other disciplines and support staff
- Act as a role model and mentor to students and nurses new to the unit
- Function as a Patient Care Coordinator as requested by the supervisor/manager
- Minimum of two years demonstrated telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload and flexibility to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Life Support certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
- Demonstrated experience clinically managing pediatric patients
