  • Presentation Materials: Create clear and compelling presentations for senior leadership, the board of directors, lenders, and other stakeholders to communicate business performance and key messages.
  • Business Case Development: Lead the creation of business cases, providing decision support and hindsight analysis to guide strategic initiatives.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance, support decision-making, and drive accountability for financial performance.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a detail-oriented approach to identify solutions to complex challenges, often with limited or incomplete data. Drive implementation and track the impact of your initiatives.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop FP&A team members.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Professional Experience: 7+ years in FP&A or related financial roles, ideally within specialty or multi-unit retail industries.
  • Skills: Expert Excel skills, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with statistical programs, business intelligence tools, and relational databases preferred (SharePoint, SQL, Business Objects, etc.).
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading financial planning and analysis functions. Experience with leading/developing a team, with 2+ years' direct management experience.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to foster cooperative and respectful working relationships.
