Position Overview

The primary goal of this program is to cultivate proficient professionals capable of effectively managing a banking center. Successful candidates will participate in a tailored training regimen to master the responsibilities of an Assistant Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, mentor, and inspire support staff to deliver exceptional service to every client.
  • Foster an environment that encourages employee excellence.
  • Establish clear objectives and targets for the branch and each team member, while monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes.
  • Drive sales across various products, including mortgages, home equity loans, checking accounts, certificates of deposit, and savings accounts.
  • Ensure compliance of branch personnel with established policies, procedures, and regulatory banking standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, staff, and community members.

Organizational Responsibilities:

Adhere to established policies and procedures by overseeing and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational benchmarks within the industry.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a successful track record in coaching and developing employees to enhance performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work branch hours, including weekends.
  • Compliance with relevant banking regulations.
  • Eligibility for Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and registry, and compliance with applicable acts.
  • Preferred: College degree or equivalent experience in retail banking (minimum five years).
  • Preferred: Two years of management experience.
  • Preferred: Five years of experience in retail banking.
  • Preferred: Experience in mortgage loan origination.
