Job Title: UAS Pilot Integrator

Position Summary:

The UAS Integrator is responsible for integrating third-party systems and technologies with our company's drone-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate third-party systems and technologies with our company's drone-based systems, including sensors, software, and hardware components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration meets customer requirements and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful integration of their systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UAS integration.
  • Participate in testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of UAS systems, including sensors, software, and hardware components.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, system integration, or a related field.
    • Strong technical expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
    • Experience with UAS systems, sensors, and software components.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for UAS operations (e.g. FAA Part 107).
    • Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in UAS integration.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical expertise in software development and system integration.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Google Suite.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
    • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for UAS systems.
    • Certification in drone operations (e.g. FAA Part 107).
