About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Accountant to join our growing team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in helping us drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cost analyses to inform management decisions and optimize financial performance.
  • Maintain the integrity of our general ledger by verifying and reconciling all entries.
  • Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecast models to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost reduction strategies and improve operational efficiency.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Participate in financial audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure seamless compliance.
  • Provide cost accounting expertise to team members and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
  • 1+ years of experience in cost accounting or a related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in cost accounting, general ledger, budgeting, account reconciliation, and forecasting.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
