AI Ontologist for Siri's Natural Language Understanding

We are seeking an experienced AI Ontologist to join our Siri NL team, where you will play a critical role in shaping the future of natural language understanding and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain ontologies, models, and standards to define and organize Siri's understanding of user intent.
- Design and implement data strategies for training and evaluating models, including human-authored and synthetic data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and negotiate inter-team constraints.
- Own requirements related to ontology tools, metrics, and process improvements.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product development with taxonomies, data classification, or ontology creation.
- Strong understanding of natural language understanding and its associated complex problems.
- Experience working cross-functionally with machine learning, product engineering, data science, annotation, and design teams.
- Demonstrated experience with systems thinking, particularly gathering requirements and resolving conflicts.
- Familiarity with lexical semantics and data-driven decision making.
- Experience with statistics and data science, including database queries.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Swift, or C++.
