We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer/Scientist to join our Siri and Information Intelligence team at Apple. Our team is responsible for pushing the boundaries of question answering, assistant response ranking, and search technologies, while also ensuring the scalability and reliability of our production service. We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in machine learning and deep learning, as well as experience with large-scale search and machine learning systems.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze search ranking and relevance requirements issues and opportunities
- Utilize PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX for training and deploying deep learning models
- Translate product requirements into modeling tasks and engineering tasks
- Build machine-learned models for search relevance ranking query understanding and questioning
- Publish and present research in top NLP conferences
- Experience in machine learning and deep learning, with a focus on natural language processing and information retrieval
- Mastery of one of the following languages: Python, Go, Java, C++
- Strong coding skills and solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed system design
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent practical skills with state-of-the-art knowledge of major machine learning algorithms
