We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Machine Learning Engineer/Scientist to join our Siri and Information Intelligence team at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models to improve the accuracy and relevance of Siri's responses.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze search ranking and relevance requirements to identify opportunities for improvement
- Design and implement deep learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX to improve Siri's understanding of user queries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into modeling tasks and engineering tasks
- Develop and deploy machine-learned models for search relevance ranking, query understanding, and question answering
- Publish and present research in top NLP conferences such as EMNLP and NAACL
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field
- Strong background in machine learning and deep learning, with a focus on natural language processing and information retrieval
- Excellent coding skills and solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and distributed system design
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with large-scale search and machine learning systems
At Apple, we offer a competitive salary range of $166,600 to $296,300, depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
