Job Overview

Solari Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing community in Santa Maria, CA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the community, including resident services, maintenance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee on-site personnel and ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Complete reports on community status and maintain accurate resident files
  • Process applicants for vacancies and maintain 100% occupancy rate
  • Oversee maintenance of the community, including unit inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Collect rents and address delinquencies in a timely manner
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of property management experience
  • Experience in supervising personnel and managing community operations
  • Working knowledge of compliance with Low Income Housing Credit program and Fair Housing regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and reliable transportation
  • Valid California driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
  • Experience with Yardi program and knowledge of fair housing regulations
  • Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO) or Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)
  • Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) Certification or Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification
