We are seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Operations to oversee our expanding territory. The successful candidate will ideally reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the designated area. This leadership role involves managing the region's healthcare services and guiding clinical leaders. Responsibilities include supervising, coordinating, evaluating, and developing care teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Nurse Case Managers to ensure effective home care services.
  • Oversee the financial and operational aspects of the assigned region.
  • Facilitate performance improvement initiatives and participate in related committees.
  • Analyze performance indicators to recommend region-specific improvements.
  • Handle client referrals and assess service requirements.
  • Assign clinical staff to clients based on their needs.
  • Conduct regular meetings with case managers to provide support and guidance.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Assist clinical teams in setting priorities and evaluating progress.
  • Engage in case conferences to promote coordinated care.
  • Collaborate with administration on departmental priorities and budgets.
  • Maintain local contracts and monitor clinical productivity.
  • Ensure 24-hour nursing coverage and evaluate on-call service quality.
  • Build relationships with community healthcare professionals to enhance resource access.
  • Support clinical staff and families in navigating healthcare resources.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies and provide necessary training.
  • Coordinate continuing education opportunities for staff.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions for case management challenges.
  • Stay informed about community resources and industry trends.
  • Guarantee accuracy and timeliness of clinical documentation.
  • Review clinical records regularly and participate in quality reviews.
  • Provide leadership in identifying client needs and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with marketing and public relations efforts.
  • Support performance improvement teams with data collection.
  • Ensure personnel are properly credentialed and compliant with regulations.
  • Assist in hiring and orienting new staff members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide on-site supervision.
  • Monitor employee metrics and address any issues.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of safety practices and promote a safe environment.
  • Designate an alternate leader in their absence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current unrestricted RN license in the relevant state.
  • BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of nursing experience, preferably in home care.
  • Three years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience in case management is a plus.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations and reimbursement processes.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
