We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Coordinator to join our team at i4 Search Group. As a Medical Laboratory Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory testing, as well as providing technical and administrative support to our laboratory staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement national and international standards for laboratory testing, ensuring staff is trained to the highest level to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Responsible for the technical and administrative aspects of the laboratory testing program, including evaluation and implementation of point-of-care testing.
- Provide education and training opportunities to laboratory staff, as well as consult and technical support to nursing staff.
- Maintain written policies and procedures for the laboratory, as well as conduct on-site inspections and resolve any technical and administrative problems.
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited school.
- Five years of clinical laboratory experience in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, serology, and urinalysis/body fluids.
- Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) from a recognized professional organization.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
