Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Representative to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair services on customer-owned ASCO equipment. You will deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction, and be a productive and valued member of your team in a variety of dynamic customer environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair services on Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
  • Service administration and reporting, including service order generation, performance of annual inventory review, and identification of replacement parts
  • Execute installation, maintenance, and repair on customer-installed base, within a specific delimited know-how
Requirements
  • Job-related military service or technical school certification in electrical systems or a related field
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components, as well as a fundamental understanding of the tools and processes required to complete system maintenance and repair activities
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and one-line diagrams
  • Ability to use appropriate test equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with Automatic Transfer Switches
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed, and ability to travel, sometimes outside of assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
