Job Overview

Position: Electrical Validation Engineer/PSV Engineer

Company: Siri InfoSolutions Inc

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, complemented by 2 to 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate a solid understanding of signal integrity principles, including but not limited to insertion loss, reflections, and cross talk.
  2. Engage in hands-on laboratory work, proficiently utilizing various instruments such as Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO), Multimeters, and Power Supplies.
  3. Interpret and analyze board designs from schematics and layouts, particularly using Cadence Allegro tools.
  4. Assemble and troubleshoot x86 motherboards, ensuring all components are correctly connected.
  5. Follow board/chip bring-up procedures, verifying essential components and impedance of voltage rails.
  6. Exhibit proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems, along with Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Utilize scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation and efficiency in tasks.
  8. Collaborate effectively within a team environment, taking initiative and responsibility for assigned tasks.
  9. Communicate technical observations and requirements clearly and concisely.

Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
