The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support services in our Cardiac Universal Bed- 5th Floor (CVICU) department. Responsibilities- Collect and record patient data, including vital signs and activities of daily living (ADL)
- Answer call lights and complete patient rounds to ensure timely and effective care
- Assist with completing and maintaining patient files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharge
- Provide patient personal hygiene and clean-up services, promoting a clean and comfortable environment
- Comply with Baylor Scott and White Health policies and procedures, upholding our commitment to excellence in patient care
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
