Job Description & Requirements

A travel assignment is available for a Psychiatric registered nurse (RN) with one of our top healthcare clients.

  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
  • Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

$70,000 per 13 weeks plus tax-free stipend and reimbursements.

About the Job:

This Patient-Centered Role involves assessing, diagnosing and treating people with psychiatric problems. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care psychiatric settings and provide holistic care for patients with behavioral challenges.

  • Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff to design and deliver patient care plans.
  • Administer and monitor psychotropic medications, addressing side effects and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyle changes.
  • Exercise balanced judgment when handling difficult situations or confrontations.
