**About Us**

Columbus Behavioral Center for Children and Adolescents is a leading provider of mental health services to males and females ages 8 to 18. Located in the greater Columbus, Indiana area, our 57-bed facility offers a safe and supportive environment for each child and teen.

Our team of trained professionals works collaboratively with residents, families, and community partners to promote a smooth transition back into the home or an appropriate level of care.

We are committed to providing individualized treatment goals for each patient, using evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help patients develop behavioral skills that can improve relationships, manage emotions, and cope with life problems.

In addition to therapy, our residential treatment program offers a balance of education and fun activities in a safe and structured setting.

As a Mental Health Technician at Columbus Behavioral Center for Children and Adolescents, you will be an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging from late childhood through late adolescence.

This PRN position requires a flexible schedule, with shifts, days, and times varying from week to week.

**Requirements**

To be eligible for this position, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness.

You must also maintain a valid Indiana driver's license and be at least 21 years old.

CPR and First Aid certification and successful completion of HWC within 90 days of employment are required.
