Job Summary:

As a Product Applications Specialist at Orion Talent, you will play a crucial role in preparing customer quotations and proposals, pricing products, creating equipment layouts, and writing equipment specifications. This position involves coordinating with the factory, vendors, sales personnel, and customers to ensure timely and accurate communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review customer technical specifications and formulate proposals, noting any deviations.
  • Prepare proposals by pricing products, creating equipment layouts, and writing facility drawings and specifications as needed.
  • Review and maintain pricing worksheets as well as update and track quotations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with sales personnel, forwarding quotations and ensure current pricing for standard products and consistency in quotes.
  • Answer customer calls and questions when sales personnel are unavailable, and coordinate information with the responsible sales person. Prepare PowerPoint presentations for sales purposes.
  • Take product photos for use in proposals and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Possess a technical military background (FC, Electronics Tech, Avionics Tech, and similar roles) and experience as a Maintenance Planner/Coordinator.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to reach and write clear, concise technical documents and prepare various types of documentation and briefings via Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus but not required, expectation is to become proficient with it in the role.
