The role will be conducted within a global framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of the Product Assurance framework.
- Maintain and oversee standard M&P documentation (e.g., DML, DPL, and DMPL) for designated initiatives.
- Ensure that processes and components adhere to established quality standards throughout the hardware development process.
- Supervise the appropriate and uniform selection of materials and processes.
- Manage material configurations to guarantee product accessibility and traceability.
- Support the establishment of an efficient non-conformance management system and aid in the documentation, tracking, and resolution of anomalies and non-conformance reports, including monitoring the status of Requests for Deviation/Waiver.
- Contribute to Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) assessments during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or a PhD in relevant disciplines such as aerospace, mechanical engineering, or similar fields.
- Fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Extensive experience in M&P positions within the aerospace sector.
- In-depth knowledge of various M&P topics related to space applications, including both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and space-grade materials.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Familiarity with applicable standards (e.g., ECSS and ASTM).
- Ability to work independently.
- Resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Clear and effective communication of technical concepts.
